Angélica Medina (she/her/ella) and Jahaira Fajardo (she’s/they) are the Co-Founders of Inlakech dance Academy, based in Oakland, CA. They founded the first Queer & Trans Salsa and Bachata dance school in the states. They have been building spaces of healing through dance since 2017. They are the first Queer couple with a female lead to win the World Latin Dance Cup....TWICE!

Learn to dance Bachata with The Spot! Join instructors from In Lak'ech Dance Academy to learn bachata’s rich Afro-Latino history and master individual footwork and partner work.
